These Terms apply to all users and visitors globally, safeguarding a respectful, authentic environment dedicated to Holy Quran reflection.

The Ayah of the Week application is designed to deliver a weekly Quranic verse along with rich, accessible contemplation tools, including:

• Displaying authentic Uthmanic Quranic script with precise diacritics.
• Streaming and playing audio recitations by renowned authorized reciters.
• Reading approved simplified tafsir (exegesis) and verified multilingual translations.
• Creating shareable media cards, videos, audio recitations, and formatted quotes for dawah and personal reflection.
• Weekly goal tracking, streak records, and prayerful notifications.

The service is 100% free of charge. No account creation or personal login is required, and the app contains no commercial advertisements or in-app purchases.

As a user of the Ayah of the Week application, you agree to:

• Use the application in compliance with ethical Islamic values and applicable local and international laws.
• Keep the application updated to the latest release available on official application stores for security and optimal performance.
• Refrain from attempting to compromise server infrastructure, intercept API endpoints, or disrupt service availability for others.
• Ensure device and internet network compatibility when downloading recitations or generating media exports.

The Quranic content presented in the application is sourced from carefully reviewed, verified scholarly databases. To preserve the reverence and authenticity of Allah's Book, you agree to:

• Inviolability of Sacred Text: Modifying, distorting, altering diacritics, or taking Quranic verses out of context in a manner that misrepresents their intended meaning is strictly prohibited.
• Media Composer & Video Generation: You may use the built-in media composer to share verses, provided that the chosen backgrounds, music-free audio, and typography remain fully respectful of Quranic sanctity.
• Accurate Attribution: When sharing verses, tafsir excerpts, or translations, retain the Surah title, Ayah number, and translation attribution to ensure scholarly transparency and integrity.

The Holy Quran is the divine word of Allah revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and is a universal public treasure belonging to all humanity.

Regarding other platform components:

• Recitations & Translations: Audio recitations, translations, and authorized tafsir texts belong to their respective scholars, reciters, and scholarly complexes (e.g. King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran, EveryAyah project) and are presented under educational, public dawah attribution.
• Software & Brand Identity: The application interface, custom typography styles, logo, animations, and software codebase are protected intellectual assets of the Ayah of the Week initiative.

Users must not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the application for any unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or unsolicited commercial promotional purpose.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the proprietary source code of the application.
• Attempting to attack, overwhelm, disrupt, or launch denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against hosting infrastructure.
• Engaging in aggressive automated scraping, bot crawling, or bulk harvesting beyond normal application usage.
• Reselling, sublicensing, leasing, or charging third parties any fee to access this free Quranic platform.

While we strive to provide 24/7 uninterrupted availability and superior performance:

• The service may occasionally undergo scheduled or emergency maintenance to enhance reliability, security, or server performance.
• We reserve the right to deploy feature enhancements, audio player improvements, or bug fixes to support newer Android and iOS operating systems.
• We may revise these Terms of Use periodically. Any updates take effect immediately upon posting to this official page with an updated modification timestamp.

Your personal privacy and data safety are of utmost importance to us. Your use of this service is governed in conjunction with our Official Privacy Policy, affirming:

• Under no circumstances shall the project maintainers be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from application usage or temporary service unavailability.
• We assume no responsibility for network carrier throttling, local connectivity disruptions, or device-specific audio decoder limitations.

You may terminate your agreement with these Terms at any time simply by uninstalling the application and ceasing to access the web platform.

Project administrators reserve the right to restrict or block network access from any client IP address or endpoint found engaging in security exploits, malicious abuse, or willful violation of these Terms.
